Receptionist was decently dressed and well spoke. No signs of substance abuse. He was courteous, helpful and friendly. For a lone traveller I will definitely come here. Bed is great, fridge is great, TV and internet works. Not suited for family, room is too small.

Stopped by to see a friend that was visiting the area and staying here. The front desk/owner was very friendly and helpful while we waited for our friend to arrive. Unsure about the quality of the rooms or the service, but our limited interaction with the owner was pleasant. Location was also good based on it's its proximity to restaurants, etc. However, it's not a place I would personally stay at due to (possible) safety & cleanliness concerns I have at this level of hospitality/price (nothing to do with this business in particular, just my personal preference when it comes to picking hotels in general).

The management and support teams could not have handled the recent tornado damage better!! Within 48 hours, the roofing was replaced where needed and power restored.

Out of all my years traveling for work, this place is one of the best ever. Jay and his crew done everything they could to accommodate me during my stay here. Old school motel with regular room key. I worked nights and had no issues sleeping during the day. Jay has to be one of the nicest owners I have ever known. Highly recommend staying here. Thank you

Very friendly staff! I requested no room service while there and that was honored. Jay as always is very kind and accommodating. I would go again. It's a country type motel. Just out of town.

This place was home for a little over a year when my boyfriend and I were trying to get back on our feet. The owner is great. He has no tolerance for any kind of disrespect or wrongdoing, but if you're not doing any type of shady biz while you're there then he does anything he can to work with you and accommodate your needs. The place itself is outdated and could use some fixing up and a good cleaning out but the place is like 35 years old and has seen some things throughout it's existence. Not the place for anyone that requires room service or full service accommodations but it is a great option for anyone that has no where to go, that is trying to get back on their feet, needs somewhere cheap so they can work and save money, or just a nice quiet place to start over. Very quiet, everyone minds their own, and there's cheap washer and dryers!

Super nice staff, very friendly, warm and helpful. Clean room and nice but small bath. But the bed was hard as a rock. If it's wasn't for the bed we would have stayed another night. Loved the people though!

Pretty affordable and easy to get in and out of. Not a lot of extra parking, so if you're traveling with more than one vehicle, you might want to consider a different place. With that said, service has been phenomenal. If you bring your own bedding, the room attendant has no problem at all making the bed with your blankets and pillows which has been a huge plus for me. Rooms are cleaned daily unless you ask otherwise and they do their best to respect your wishes for the entire duration of your stay. Management has also been extremely kind and accommodating. There's also Wi-Fi provided, however, the signal doesn't extend much further than the first few rooms

When we had no where to go and basically have list hope in finding anything. We call here and was told he had a efficiency apartment no questions asked told him we wanted it was willing to take without even seeing it. I'm glad we are here best place for helpful heat felt community people coming together for anyone they meet. We feel like we belong here and live it thanks for having us

I came into Bloomington (from Michigan) for a funeral. My family needed an inexpensive and clean room for a night. After looking at reviews for several inexpensive places in the area, we settled on this motel. We were not disappointed. The room was very clean, the sheets where bright white and clean and the bed was comfortable. The young man at the desk was super friendly when we checked in. I liked the big shower and the price was right. This is not a 5-star resort, but it you are looking for a comfortable bed, a clean room and an affordable price, this place works well.
